Terms of Service

These terms govern the purchase of physical and digital books through prometeabtc.com. By placing an order you accept these terms. We recommend reading them before buying.

2. Subject and prices

PROMETEA sells physical and digital books (EPUB, PDF) about Bitcoin, cryptography, privacy and digital sovereignty.

All prices shown on the website are expressed in euros and include the applicable VAT.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination zone and are shown at checkout before you confirm the order.

3. Placing an order

The purchase procedure consists of the following steps:

  1. Select the book in paper or digital format.
  2. Add it to the cart.
  3. Enter shipping details (physical orders only) or email (digital orders only).
  4. Choose a payment method (card or Bitcoin).
  5. Confirm the order.

You will receive an email confirmation with the order summary. The sales contract is considered formalized upon receipt of this confirmation.

4. Payment methods

  • Credit or debit card: processed by Stripe. We never have access to your card details.
  • Bitcoin: processed by our own self-hosted BTCPay server. We offer a 5% discount when paying with Bitcoin.

For Bitcoin payments, the price is calculated on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. Once the transaction is confirmed on the network, the order moves to "paid" status.

5. Shipping, returns and warranties

Shipping conditions are detailed in our Shipping Policy, and the right of withdrawal, refunds and the legal guarantee in our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

All contents of this website, including texts, images, graphic design, logos and source code, are the property of PROMETEA or its respective authors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Their reproduction, distribution or transformation without express authorization is prohibited.
