As a consumer in the European Union you have a statutory right of withdrawal. PROMETEA also accepts returns of defective or non-conforming items.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You have 14 calendar days from receiving the book to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and the Spanish consumer protection law (TRLGDCU).
To exercise it, send us an email at hola@prometeabtc.com with your name, order number and your decision to withdraw. We will confirm receipt and tell you how to return the book, which must be in resaleable condition.
Refunds
The refund of the price of the book (including the standard initial delivery costs) will be made within a maximum of 14 days from receiving the returned book (or proof that you have sent it back), using the same payment method you used.
Return costs: the direct cost of returning the book is at your expense. We recommend using a trackable delivery method.
Digital books
For digital books (EPUB/PDF), the right of withdrawal is lost once the download has started, in accordance with art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU (art. 103.m TRLGDCU). You accept this condition when you start the download.
Defective or damaged items
If you receive a defective, damaged or non-conforming book, contact us at hola@prometeabtc.com and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Physical books carry the legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery (RD-Ley 7/2021).
Complaints
For any complaint, write to us at hola@prometeabtc.com. We commit to responding within a maximum of 7 calendar days. Also, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 524/2013, consumers can access the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
